in the ocean
and walked into it silently
the stars now gone
from her eyes
the warmth now gone
from her heart
The sweet seraphs
cried for her
and the weight
pulling her down
Further into the sea
she walks
without an emotion on her face
Until she's covered with the water
and her light shines no more
My first poem in forever. Well, what seems like forever because it feels like I haven't written in forever. I like this poem though. It's basically about your dreams "drowning" and fading away from you.
