So what have I been doing recently this summer? Well, you know, probably not as your guys'. I've been chillin' at home, hanging out with my friends, meeting some cool new people and high schoolers, and I'll be going to band camp for a week starting on August 2nd. I'm not ready to go to band camp. I know it'll definitely be fun, and I'll get to meet even more high schoolers and I'll be able to be like, "Hah! I know more high schoolers than you!" to all the other Freshmen, but I don't know. I hope no one makes us go swimming. I mean, don't mind swimming but I'm too lazy for that. I have to take out my contacts, and then after swimming shower and blahhh. That's why I only go swimming sometimes when I feel like it. Which is not often. Plus, I don't like wearing my glasses except on weekends when I'm at home or with my close friends. Because... eye-decay (IDK). (:
And other than the band camp and band rehearsals, I'm going down to Austin, TX with my mom and Sophia to visit some old friends that we haven't seen in awhile. I can't wait! It's going to be so much fun! Plus, I hear there's a lot of vintage and thrift stores in Austin. And you all know how I love me some vintage. :)
By the way, Sophia (my little sister, for those new followers) is turning 3 this Tuesday on the 27th. I can't believe she'll be three! Time flies too fast. I wish Summer vacation wasn't halfway over.
OH! And some AWESOME news: My dad finally found the tripod from our old film camera so I can finally do some rad self-portraits with it. YAY!!! I finally have a tripod now! :D YESYESYES!!! Haha, I'm sorry, only I would be this excited about a tripod.

I really find it amazing how other more mainstream schools in Europe, Asia and America share the same education system. Which they segregate schools in to elementary, middle/junior and high/senior school ANDDDD have the long "Summer Holidays". Whereas in Australia we have only primary school (K-6) and then we have High School (7-12). With that we have holidays split for 2 weeks every 9-11weeks, and during summer we get the 6-7weeks.
WHY IS AUSTRALIA SO "ODD ONE OUT".
