As the mood indacator suggests, I am ecstatic. Why? Because I'm getting a new camera! And not just any new camera. A Canon Eos Rebel T1i. And it's not just any Canon camera - it's a DSLR! I am super psyched! We ordered on the 7th (Wednesday) after I asked my dad casually when we would be able to get it. I thought it would be at least another month before we ordered it, but really, since my mom didn't get to go to Indiana (therefore, I didn't get to make any money) there was no point in waiting. Of course, I'd have to pay for half of it (with money I saved up from working a few years ago) and it'll most likely be an early X-mas or B-day present, it's still worth it. It'll be my new lover. (Next to Mr. Sushi, my iPod, of course.)
It just shipped today though and will probably arrive on the 16th. That's one week away. That's too long! I was being emotionally prepared for it to arrive this Monday. More waiting...
I hate waiting.
But hey, while you're reading this, I just started a new and more official photoblog/portfolio to celebrate the event of me getting my first DSLR. The old blog will most likely stay there to rot because I can't imagine deleting it.
But yeah, I created a new one, and once I get used to my new camera, I might even sell some prints. (You guys shall help me spread the word once I do, won't you?) *wink wink/hint hint*
It's still under construction, but there's no pain in following early. It only takes a click of a mouse. After all, you're not doing anything right now seeing as you're reading my boring little blog.
