The cars around you pass in slow motion, mixing together with all the matter in the world to create a messy blue. Then abruptly you see nothing...
Nothing except the girl.
Who is she? What is she doing there?
She is waiting. Waiting for something to happen. Anything.
But because you don't know her, you walk past without so much as a second glance; her eyes staring at the back of your head, burning a hole through your skin.

so beautiful, candy
and so sad :[
I like it, its really beautiful. Is it in your notebook?
That's lovely :)
Why're you annoyed?
Wow, DC, eh? Always wanted to go there - have a BLAST, ya hear? yay!!
And of *course* you're going to take lots of pictures. :) There's a good tip right there! "Take lots." AND LOTS. Just shoot - anything and everything. But at the same time, don't be like me and get upset inside when you miss a moment... you can enjoy moments without capturing them - in fact sometimes you can enjoy them MORE. Idea: leave your camera home on one of the days, just ONE, if you feel you want to.
"I think it'll be a great way & place to practice my photography ^^"
Yesss, I agree! :) But then, wherever you are is a great place to practice photography because YOU are there. Let your photography grew you... I'm doing a 365 of myself and it sounds a bit odd, but it's teaching me things about myself I never would have known otherwise. Learn about light, camera settings, composition, B&W shots, personality capturing and you will *see* differently... see "life" differently. :)
Another tip would be to not be afraid to hand your camera to a friend and ask for a pic of yourself; you're gonna want those when you get back, mmhmm. Or grab a couple friends and hold the camera out and get ALL of you - those are some fun shots!!
Goodness, I could go on and on! I'll stop myself though ;) Maybe more thoughts later, if you want.
*hugs*
p.s. more important tip ever: have fun, be in each moment :)
