"A timeless story of innocence lost and humanity found.""Lines may divide us, but hope will unite us...""A story of innocence in a world of ignorance."
---
We watched this movie in our Language Arts class because our unit is on the Holocaust this semester.
This was a beautifully quiet and heartbreaking film that explored the innocence of childhood.
Based on the novel by John Boyne.
If you've never seen this movie before you have to click HERE. for the full film. (I highly recommend it.)
And even if you're not - at least watch it for the great score/soundtrack. [:

(But I'm too lazy to wait for the video to load. XD)
I've seen that movie twice and it really does make you think and realize how terrible and morbid the Holocaust was. It's a fantastic movie and very touching.
I cry like a silly baby every time I see that one part :-P
