Hey guys! Just a few photos. I deleted my photography blog, because I just couldn't keep up with it. So I'm just going to try to update here from now on, and on tumblr and flickr. 

I never get tired of photographing my little sister...

I can't believe I'm a Junior now. This school year was full of ups and downs, stressful schoolwork, and a lot of learning for me as a person. 

I have good news! I made section leader in band! I am so excited! I also get to play the piccolo, which I am very excited for. I've never played the piccolo before, but I can't wait to practice. I know being put in this leadership role will help me a lot as a person. 

I'm also learning how to drive. I have my level 1 license, but I haven't had a lot of time to practise... hopefully I will practise more this summer. I need a LOT of practise...

One thing that I really missed was photography. During the school year, it was really hard for me to do photography, and my creativity was really blocked. I hope to catch up on photography this summer! I keep saying that I will practice portrait photography, but I'm introverted and I'm always nervous about asking to photography people, but hopefully this summer I will actually DO IT! 

I took these photos in my backyard. It was so nice to have that "creative release". 

I also hope to start writing more prose and poetry soon. School just leaves me with little time! :c

But this summer, I will practice more flue & piano too hopefully, study for the ACTs (so time consuming!!!), read (a lot books are on my to-read list!) and photography. I will hopefully also go record shopping and downtown A2. 

As for my personal life, it's great. I'm really happy.

I'm still alive!

I'm still alive, I swear! See? Proof. But I haven't forgotten about you guys. It's just that between school, homework, band, reading books, watching movies, driver's ed, studying, tumblr... Blogger  just seems at the bottom of my priority list, you know? But I'll try to start posting here more, okay? 

I can't wait for it to be summer already because 1) I'm going to Vans Warped Tour this year and 2) my boyfriend may possibly be visiting. We just need to figure out where he's going to stay and hopefully our parent can talk and figure it out soon and 3) School drains all my time and creativity from me so when summer comes, I can't wait to start doing photography again, for the inspiration to come back to me. I also haven't had a lot of time to write lately... I have an idea for a short story though, inspired by the earlier works of J.D. Salinger, so when I have time,  I'm going to start working on that...

Two weeks ago, we had a benefit concert at our school for Ozone house, and I was able to get a few pictures... (I feel so bad leaving my darling camera on my shelf and not using it at all during the school year. I can't wait for summer. Hopefully, I'll work up the courage to asking a few people at school to model for me so I can practise portrait photography more.)

On Friday, I went on my first drive for driver's ed. Mostly, we just practised turns in the parking lot, and drove to the high school. I started out kinda rocky... >_< Who knew driver took so much thinking and coordination?! But with practise, I'll get better. 

So yeah, I haven't forgotten about you guys! Talk to you soon!

I hope you  guys all had a fabulous Christmas! I had lovely Christmas with my family, and I got: a tremendous amount of Dean Martin, and Frank Sinatra records, shoes, and another Rise Against poster.

Sorry I haven't exactly been around in the blogosphere (besides Tumblr) lately. School and babysitting is really sucking the energy out of me.

I know I haven't updated this blog in forever and I'm so so so sorry. I haven't been blogging a lot on here lately, and it's because I've been so busy and I'm too lazy to blog about my life because you guys really don't want to hear me ramble on about my life, right? The Quiet Autumn

I adore Autumn. It has to be my favourite season, though where I live, it seems rather short because Winters here are so incredibly long. I love so many things about autumn. Halloween, apple cider, warm fuzzy sweaters, the smells, the colours, everything... Nevertheless, here are some of my favourite things about Autumn.
