Summer Ending

Mood:writer's block

Summer's ending,
can't you tell?
The warmness won't last
very well.

And soon the flowers will
fall,
my flowers will disappear,
and then I could end up anywhere.
Anyway, everywhere, somewhere,
I don't really care.

But Summer is flying away
like the thousands of petals
flowering away.
They could leave me anywhere.
But then where will I be?
Will I be beside you?

These flowers will continue
to fall
and conquer us all.
And where will we be
when the flowers fall?

Bob Dylan Is Genius.

Mood:inspirational

How many roads must a man walk down
Before you call him a man?
Yes, 'n' how many seas must a white dove sail
Before she sleeps in the sand?
Yes, 'n' how many times must the cannon balls fly
Before they're forever banned?
The answer, my friend, is blowin' in the wind,
The answer is blowin' in the wind.

How many years can a mountain exist
Before it's washed to the sea?
Yes, 'n' how many years can some people exist
Before they're allowed to be free?
Yes, 'n' how many times can a man turn his head,
Pretending he just doesn't see?
The answer, my friend, is blowin' in the wind,
The answer is blowin' in the wind.

How many times must a man look up
Before he can see the sky?
Yes, 'n' how many ears must one man have
Before he can hear people cry?
Yes, 'n' how many deaths will it take till he knows
That too many people have died?
The answer, my friend, is blowin' in the wind,
The answer is blowin' in the wind.

Those Sweet Summer Nights/Harry Potter vs. Twilight

Mood:Chipper

I love those Summer nights where you sit in the backyard, watching fireflies. No music, no distractions. It's just you against the universe, your heart quietly dancing to the sound of the nature around you. I love those moments in time where it seems like time slows down - and you can't see anything else. It's just you, the moon, and the stars.

---

I'm going to see Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince tomorrow. I know, I know, I'm the worst fan ever. But it's not my fault that I was in China for an entire month when the movie came out; I didn't have enough time to see it, I was unpacking and stuff. *sticks out tongue*.

There's not much else to say. Except, even though I'm a huge fan of Harry Potter AND Twilight, if it came down to a vote, I'd still have to choose Harry Potter. It's just so much better. End of story. I mean for real, how many books do you see at the bookstore about a legendary wizard who continues his lifelong battle with the cryptic, evil, Voldemort? And...how many books do you see at the bookstore about vampires? (About 20.) I know I'm being unfaithful to the Twilight series, but if I had to choose, I'd pick Harry Potter. (Sorry Stephenie Meyer!) Not convinced? Watch the official debate. . .

Seriously though readers, who is better? Take your pick and comment.

Au revoir au revoir,

Heart Song

Mood:drained

At night, the town is quite silent,
like the deep sea,
except for a whispering
in the breeze.

All alone, walking on an endless road,
walking toward that distant voice,
always looking for the small blue light.

My heart is lost,
please find it for me.
Please call me with your heart.
I'll be waiting for you here.

I promise I won't leave you, cause
we haven't even met.
The glimmer of hope in my soul,
is shining...seeking for you.

I'll never again forget you.
...Never...never....
I'll be searching for you
always...always....always...
until I find the one for me...

"Love life and life will love you back. Love people and they will love you back." - Arthur Rubenstein

I have loved life. And I have tried my hardest to love people. So, why the heck won't they love me back?

Simple. What a funny little word. It's easy to imagine that everything will be simple, that you will get what you want in life. It's easy to dream. But reality doesn't work that way. It's not simple. It's not a dream for most of us human beings. Everybody dreams. But less than half of the world's people get what they want. That's why I think that quote is BS.

It'd be lovely if everyone in the world had an Easy Button, wouldn't it? It certainly would. But that's one reason life sucks.

"Expecting the world to treat you fairly because you are a good person is a little like expecting the bull not to attack you because you are a vegetarian." - Dennis Wholey

Life sucks, and then you die - is there are way out of this long game called life? No. Either way, we have to be grateful for what we have and know. We have to work our way towards being the person we want to be in life. Just shoot for the moon. Even if you miss, you'll land among the stars.

So yeah.

It's simple....right?

It can be.

Deepest wishes,
Candy:)

WANTED: For just about everything.

“Sometimes you put walls up not to keep people out, but to see who cares enough to break them down.” - Anonymous

"Best friends? More like, sisters."

There comes a moment in life when you just stop everything you're doing, and think. You ask yourself who you want to be in this world, what you want to do. And you don't know. You tell yourself that you'll be whoever you want to be, do whatever you want to do. But there's a little flicker of doubt in there somewhere. What if you're not good enough? And that's when you stop... and listen. Note

But who do you listen to? You wonder who you'll be married to in 30 years, how many kids you'll have, and who your friends will be. But I know that my friends are friends for life. I love my friends, (and they know who they are.) They are the reason I get up each and every morning. The reason why school isn't as painful as it should be. They are my sunshine. Sun And I couldn't bear to live without them. I know they will always be there to catch me when I fall.

We are crazy. We are mean. We are nice. We are friendly. We are weird. We are eccentr!k. We are smart. We are funny. We are clumsy. We are loud. We are the ones who are the loudest at the movies. We are the ones that strike you as crazy. We are the annoying ones at the carnival. We may even be the ones to p--s you off. But they are the world to me. And I love them.
Red heart Even when we argue and quarrel. And disagree on things. Broken heart We will always be sisters.

We've done some horrible things. We've said some pretty mean stuff. We don't really mean any of it. But we are Awesome Hobos all the way through!

I love you, my home skillet waffles! (They know who they are...) Rainbow

Let everyday be Friendship Day.

Sincerely,
Candice Audrey Anderson

Just A Few Words.

I found a beautiful quote
by a writer, Luciano de Crescenzo.
Lou-chee-ON-oh wrote:

"We are each of us
angels with only one wing,
and we can only fly by embracing each other."

Just a few words, but they make me
a little sad,
a little blue...

...as if I am striving for something higher,
trying to get off
the ground.

But Lou,
who
will embrace me?

I Don't Want To Grow Up!

Sometimes, I think adults become brainwashed after graduating from college. Or maybe aliens from outer space abducted them and brainwashed them. I'm not sure. But sometimes I get tired of all the parental/adult nonsense. It is heartbreaking. Sometimes my parents quarrel over the smallest things. And it's stupid.

That's why I don't want to grow up. I don't want to be brainwashed.

"I want forever to be a boy, and have fun!" - (Peter Pan)

Sometimes it scares me when people say ,"Oh you're going to be in the eight grade? How fun! I bet you're really excited!" And I am excited. I can't wait for 8th grade! I mean we get to be at the top of the food chain! But I hate that feeling that high school is lurking around the corner. That the expectations of you will rise. And you have to live up to that. That feeling...it scares me.

"
And days go by...
I can feel 'em flyin'
Like a hand out the window in the wind.
The cars go by...
Yeah it's all we've been given,
So you better start livin' right now
'Cause days go by..." - (Keith Urban)

And the days go by...
they never stop.

We Shall Fly

I want to be the bird that
carries you away into the air.
When the sky darkens and the stars
come out,
I want to lay there beside you

and whisper in your ear
and tell you secrets

of my past life.
I want to be the one
who takes you on a journey

of a lifetime.
I want to embrace you and fly.
Across the world and over the seas
with you in my arms.
We will say goodbye to the world
with smiles on our faces.
And then we will fly.
